Scottwoods

As a proudly Canadian company, Scott-Woods recognizes that our work takes place on lands that Indigenous Peoples have stewarded for generations. This Indigenous land acknowledgement recognizes the history, resilience, and continued presence of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities across the regions where we operate. More specifically, we recognize the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation, part of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) people and the primary First Nation associated with the Sutton, Ontario area. We also recognize the Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat Peoples, who have longstanding connections to this land.

At Scott-Woods, respect goes beyond words. We are committed to supporting Indigenous projects, Indigenous-owned businesses, and opportunities for Indigenous employees and partners whenever possible. These relationships are important to us because they help strengthen both our communities and our industry.

In addition, we believe recognizing the past is an important part of moving forward. Through this Indigenous land acknowledgement, our company remains committed to listening, learning, and working with respect on the land we call home as we continue to grow.

We are always proud to support projects, partnerships, and initiatives that give back to Indigenous communities. If you would like to collaborate with our team, please contact us.
